In case you missed it. Highlights of Gore's challenge from speech in DC today. Sounds like there are a lot of choir members in the audience. The good news is the choir is getting bigger.

I think all Americans are ready for a bold national energy policy. I have no idea why Gore did not run for President, this is exactly what both of our candidates should be singing. I will back any plan that calls for more renewable energy in the US. I do not care if it is Pickens Plan, The Solar Grand Plan or Gore's Plan, anything is better then just sitting around. Unfortunetly the forces are strong and I believe the answer is us. What you and I do will most likely happen faster then any watered down national energy policy. I have my own plan to conserve energy and support sustainable energy anyway I can. I beleive energy belongs to the people not the corporations that want to sell it to us. This is why I plan to start a peoples power movement early next year that is non-profit and will accomplish Gore's very objective much faster.

The crazy thing is that it's possible. It'll take a lot of effort and investment, but in the long run the USA would benefit tremendously from this initiative.
I just hope that the rest of the so called civilized nations would follow. As a Canadian and close neighbor, I strongly believe this is the way to go!
